The Princeton Review Partners with CollegeWeekLive to Expand College Preparation Services

Upcoming virtual college fair offers colleges the chance to interact live with Princeton Review students

BOSTON, MA (PRWEB) April 06, 2016

Last year alone, nearly one out of every two students who applied to college used The Princeton Review as a primary resource in finding the right college match. Now The Princeton Review has partnered with CollegeWeekLive to give students deeper insights into each college and university they’re interested in attending.

“The Princeton Review is the go-to resource to learn about what students are experiencing academically, socially, and financially at universities around the country,” said Rob Franek, Senior Vice President of Content Development / Publishing at The Princeton Review. “We’re pleased to expand on this service through our partnership with CollegeWeekLive. Together, we’re making college search a more engaging experience.”

The Princeton Review is hosting the Princeton Review Virtual College Fair at CollegeWeekLive.com on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. This unique event gives students and their families live access to admissions officers to help them narrow down their top choice schools – and offers admissions officers an effective way of beginning or continuing engagement with students who are interested in attending their school.

“Students already visit The Princeton Review for test preparation and other college counseling services,” said Young Shin, SVP, Global Business Development and Partnerships at The Princeton Review. “The Princeton Review Virtual College Fair will be the first in a series of events that augment this offering to help students find the right school for them through live interaction.”

“Today’s students want more than a slick brochure or email from the schools they’re considering,” said CollegeWeekLive President Sumant Mauskar. “They want to have authentic conversations with those who know the schools best. That’s why an increasing number of universities are giving students opportunities to meet with their admissions staff, students, and alumni virtually.”

During the virtual college fair, high school juniors and underclassmen are invited to chat online with participating colleges and universities. These personal conversations will help students get to know the unique attributes of each school so they can hone in on the best college match. The event will also have live video presentations focusing on test preparation help and other college-readiness topics to guide students through the search and application process.
