Boston, MA (PRWEB) May 12, 2014 - CollegeWeekLive, the leading website where students and colleges meet live online, today announced that the first ever Texas Region 10 Virtual College Fair will take place online at CollegeWeekLive on May 15th between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. CDT. Students who log in to the complimentary event will be able to chat live with admissions counselors at twelve participating universities and learn more about admissions requirements and campus life. Any student who logs in to the live event and visits the profile pages of three participating schools will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a $1,000 scholarship.
CollegeWeekLive is working in collaboration with the Region 10 Education Service Center, which is asking schools across the region to bring students into computer labs to participate in the live online college fair. The Region 10 Education Service Center provides services that impact more than 650,000 students and 53,000 educators in 80 public school districts, 31 charter schools, and numerous private schools in eight counties.
