CollegeWeekLive connects 60,000 students with 300 colleges online March 23rd & 24th.
CollegeWeekLive, provider of the world's largest college fairs and admissions events, today announced CollegeWeekLive SPRING, the largest admissions event of the season. The event will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 23rd and March 24th from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. An estimated 60,000 teens will login to CollegeWeekLive over two days with one goal in mind - to connect with thousands of admissions representatives from more than 300 higher education institutions from the convenience of a computer.
Academic institutions participating in CollegeWeekLive SPRING range from Ivy League institutions to public and private universities to regional leaders in higher education -- including Yale University, Boston University, Syracuse University, UC Berkeley, Texas A & M, Northeastern, University of Tennessee, Rutgers, and Florida Atlantic University – to name just a few. “CollegeWeekLive enables us to showcase Florida Atlantic University to students around the world. It is the next best thing to being able to physically visit a campus”, said Barbara Pletcher, the Director of Admissions at Florida Atlantic University. CollegeWeekLive SPRING will also feature hundreds of live video presentations from current college students, as well as special live video presentations from the U.S. Department of Education Office of Financial Aid, The Princeton Review, The Common Application, and ACT, Inc. on “Paying for College: Financial Aid Overview,” “How to Choose a College,” “How to Use the Common Application” and “How to Prepare for the ACT,” respectively. Back by popular demand, Harlan Cohen, the best-selling author of “The Naked Roommate”, will help students take a comedic look at adjusting to college life. Barbara Cooke, author of "Parent's Guide to College and Careers", will be live taking parents questions on how to ready your child for college.
